I CANNOT BELIEVE how fast time has gone. Has it really been a month since our sweet Atticus was born? My mama heart can't handle it.
I'm so happy to be back writing again, thank you for being so wonderful and encouraging to my guest bloggers who have kept this blog active while we adjust to life as a family of four. Sam was able to take five weeks off for paternity leave and we decided that I would let the blog go a bit quiet during that time to savour every moment together. I have so much I want to share with you (including Ace's birth story!) from this past month together and am excited to sit down and write and process everything.
Now, back to Atticus (or Ace as we affectionately call him). What a dreamboat this little boy is. He was born at 6lb 13oz and by one month old he is more than 10lbs. He loves to eat, loves to be cuddled (especially by his mama) and likes to party between 8-11pm and 4-6am. He is so alert and will open his newborn eyes and look in your direction when you talk to him. Physically speaking he is a little pip, I joked when he was first born that he was like a little skinned rabbit - he had no meat on his bones! (Finny was born with Michelin man rolls.) His head is half the size of Finn's when Finn was born. His features are so defined. He is such a handsome little fella.
I am so blessed to have two wonderful, healthy boys. I am so thankful and my heart is so full.
